  • The American Physical Therapy Association defines a physical therapists as “movement experts who improve quality of life through prescribed exercise, hands-on care, and patient education. Physical therapists examine each person and then develops a treatment plan to improve their ability to move, reduce or manage pain, restore function, and prevent disability.”

  • As stated by the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC): “Health & wellness coaches support clients in activating internal strengths and external resources to make sustainable and healthy lifestyle behavior changes. Health coaches use a client-centered approach wherein clients decide their goals, engage in self-discovery or active learning processes, and self-monitor behaviors to increase accountability, all within the context of an interpersonal relationship with a health coach.”

  • Your first physical therapy appointment with be a 60 minute appointment, one on one with your physical therapist (PT). At this appointment, your PT with take a thorough history, perform a physical exam and work with you to develop a plan of care focused on your unique concerns and goals.

  • Ripple Coaching & Physical Therapy is an out of network provider. We operate as a cash based care system which prioritizes the client by taking out the middleman (insurance) and allows the physical therapist and patient decide what the best treatment options are for the client without the insurance influencing or interfering. We are fully transparent with our pricing up front, so you won't end up with a bill you weren't expecting at the end. Cash based care provides greater freedom for the client to choose the care they desire.

    If you would like to self-submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, we are happy to provide a super bill with all the information for you to submit! We do accept FSA and HSA cards for physical therapy sessions.

  • There are many benefits to this including:

    Insurances often put a limit on the number of visits you have, and often use third party mediators to restrict access to the visits that you pay for under your plan. With cash-based care, there is no limit to the number of visits you have and you don’t have to wait for authorization from your insurance company to start your care.

    It is full 1-on-1 care where you will never be seen with another patient at the same time. You also will never be passed off to an aide or tech.

    We are able to treat the whole person. The therapist can treat your neck, your knee and your ankle all within the same plan if needed!

    Research has proven 1-on-1 care will decrease the number of visits needed to return the client back to their goals. This overall decreases the amount of money spent on your care and gets you back to the activities you love sooner.

  • The full credentials are PT, DPT, OCS, PCES.

    PT: This means I am a licensed physical therapist.

    DPT: This stands for doctorate of physical therapy, which is the degree required to become a PT.

    OCS: This means that I am a board certified orthopedic specialist meaning I have studied and passed an additional board exam that is created by the American Physical Therapy Association.

    PCES: Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. I have done post doctoral education to better assess and treat individuals during and postpartum.
